Providers can customize the types of appointments they offer, including Initial and Follow-Up appointments, as well as add additional types and assign specific colors to each.

Steps to Define Appointment Types

  1. Accessing Appointment Settings

    • Navigate to the Appointments section.

    • Click on the Settings icon in the top-right corner.

  2. Defining Initial and Follow-Up Appointments

    • Under Appointment Settings, locate the fields for Initial Appointment Duration(s) and Follow-Up Appointment Duration(s).

    • Use the dropdown menu to select the default durations for each type (e.g., 30 minutes, 60 minutes).

    • You can select multiple durations if needed.

  3. Adding Additional Appointment Types

    • Click + Appointment Type at the bottom of the settings.

    • Provide a name for the new appointment type (e.g., "Consultation" or "Urgent Care").

    • Set the default duration(s) for this appointment type using the dropdown menu.

    • Select a color for the appointment type to differentiate it on the calendar.

      • Click the color selector to choose a color.

    • Click Save Changes to confirm.

  4. Editing or Removing Appointment Types

    • To edit an appointment type, click the pencil icon next to the type name.

    • To delete an appointment type, click the trash icon next to the type name.
