Providers can customize the types of appointments they offer, including Initial and Follow-Up appointments, as well as add additional types and assign specific colors to each.
Steps to Define Appointment Types
Accessing Appointment Settings
Defining Initial and Follow-Up Appointments
Under Appointment Settings, locate the fields for Initial Appointment Duration(s) and Follow-Up Appointment Duration(s).
Use the dropdown menu to select the default durations for each type (e.g., 30 minutes, 60 minutes).
You can select multiple durations if needed.
Adding Additional Appointment Types
Click + Appointment Type at the bottom of the settings.
Provide a name for the new appointment type (e.g., "Consultation" or "Urgent Care").
Set the default duration(s) for this appointment type using the dropdown menu.
Select a color for the appointment type to differentiate it on the calendar.
Click the color selector to choose a color.
Click Save Changes to confirm.
Editing or Removing Appointment Types
To edit an appointment type, click the pencil icon next to the type name.
To delete an appointment type, click the trash icon next to the type name.
