Providers can manage patient appointment requests using the Requests tab within the Appointments section. This guide covers reviewing, rescheduling, and responding to appointment requests when using the list view.
Steps to Handle Appointment Requests in List View:
Accessing Requests:
Navigate to the Appointments list section from the left-hand menu.
Select the Requests tab from the top navigation bar to see all pending appointment requests.
Viewing Request Details:
In the list of requests, click on a specific appointment to open the detailed view.
The detailed view provides:
Patient Details: Full name, gender, email, and payment type.
Appointment Details: Date, time, type (Initial or Follow-Up), and consultation mode (In-Person or Virtual).
Taking Action on Requests:
In the detailed view, choose an action based on the request:
Accept: Approves the request, and it moves to your calendar in the Upcoming tab.
Reject: Declines the request, and the patient is notified.
More Actions: Select Reschedule Appointment if the proposed time needs adjustment.
