Marking an appointment as a no-show helps you keep accurate records and manage billing or follow-up actions for patients who miss their appointments.
Steps to Mark an Appointment as No-Show
Access the Appointment Details
Navigate to the Appointments section.
Locate the appointment under the Upcoming or Incomplete tab, depending on its current status.
Click on the appointment to open the details pane.
Mark as No-Show
In the details pane, click the "No-Show" button.
Confirm the action in the prompt to officially mark the appointment as a no-show.
Using List View for Incomplete Appointments
Impact on Appointment Status
The appointment will be moved from Upcoming or Incomplete to the Completed tab.
A no-show fee will be automatically charged to the patient, based on the percentage you’ve set in the Billing Settings (e.g., 50% of the appointment fee).
