Learn how to initiate a telehealth session using Meto's built-in video consultation tool, whether for virtual or in-person consultations.

Step-by-Step Guide:

  1. Access the Appointment

    • Navigate to the Appointments section on your provider portal.

    • Locate the scheduled appointment in the Upcoming list or Calendar View.

    • Click on the patient’s name to open the appointment details.

  2. Join the Telehealth Session

    • Select the Join Session button in the appointment details panel.

    • A new window will launch the telehealth interface.

  3. Set Up Your Session

    • Before starting, adjust your audio and video settings:

      • Turn your camera on/off using the Camera toggle.

      • Adjust microphone and speaker settings by selecting the preferred input/output options.

      • Test your microphone or speakers if needed.

    • Once ready, click Join to enter the telehealth session.

  4. Recording In-Person Sessions

    • For in-person consultations, follow the same steps to Join Session.

    • Use the telehealth tool to record audio of the session, enabling AI-powered note-taking after the consultation.

  5. During the Session

    • Use the following controls for a seamless experience:

      • Mute/Unmute: Manage your microphone.

      • Share Screen: Share any visual aids with the patient.

      • Recording: If enabled, ensure the session is recorded for AI note generation.

  6. Ending the Session

    • Once the consultation is complete, click Leave to exit the session.

    • The recording will automatically process for note generation.
